Due to the COVID pandemic, the EFORT Congress was in hybrid format. ARTOF was invited to host an online instructional course, engaging the delegates in a virtual case discussion. The instructional course highlighted current management strategies of open fractures. Our selected faculty (ZA – Nando Ferreira, GB – Sam Molyneux, GER – Jochen Pressmar, GER – Marc Hanschen) presented state of the art treatment protocols in their talks and was engaged in a lively online discussion with the audience.
